Happy 4th of July and a trip to Shaker Village!

What an incredible experience!
 We stayed at this Shaker Village for two nights in Pleasant Hill, Kentucky on our family trip to Tennessee. 
Every building is an original and once lived in by Shakers! If you ever get the chance you must visit the village! It is unbelievable!!!

This is the house we stayed in. This was the Ministries Workshop built in 1813. We had the whole house to ourselves. One morning we woke up and there were sheep right outside our door! The kids loved the animals and chased those sheep all the way back to the barn! 





























This was our house at night! The little light on in one of the bedrooms gave it such a comfortable feeling!
